Shop Tachometer STS5000

SenDEC's Shop Tachometer is one of the finest meters on the market today. This tachometer reads up to 16,000 RPM, has maximum RPM recall and clear functions, and can be programmed for up to 3 different firing patterns. This patented meter uses one simple push button (MODE) to access all these functions. It's designed and manufactured in the USA.

Operating Tachometer:
When pushing and releasing the mode button you will see P1, P2 or P3 for 3 seconds on the right hand side of the display. This is the current programmed firing pattern. To access Maxtach (highest engine RPM) push and hold the mode button down for at least 3 seconds; to erase the high RPM continue holding down for at least 9 seconds (will see 0000). To change the firing pattern, push and hold mode button down for more than 10 seconds; release button on desired firing pattern (P1, P2 or P3).


Tach/Hour Meter FS500

SenDEC's Fastach Tach/Hour Meter is one of the finest values in racing tachometers with additional functions of a totalizing Hour Meter and a resettable Job Timer. The tachometer reads up to 16,000 RPM, has maximum RPM recall and clear functions, and can be programmed for up to 3 different firing patterns. This patented meter uses one simple push button (MODE CONTROL) to access all of its functions.


For all single & twin cylinder gasoline engines (2 or 4 cycle)

Resettable Job Timer function

Operating
Push and release mode control in order to toggle between Hour Meter, Tachometer and Job Timer.

Hour Meter:
Indicated by TOT TIME on display (is non resettable)

Tachometer:
Upon entering this function you will see P1, P2 or P3 for 3 seconds on the right hand side of the display. This is the current programmed firing pattern. To access MAXTACH (highest engine RPM) be in the RPM mode and hold mode control down for at least 3 seconds; to erase the high RPM continue holding down for at least 9 seconds (will see 0000). To change the firing pattern, be in the RPMmode and hold mode control down for more than 10 seconds; release mode control on desired firing pattern (P1, P2 or P3).

Job Timer:
To reset to zero, push and release the mode control until you are in the Job Time mode. Depress and hold the mode control for 3 seconds (time will clear to 0.0).

Installation: Easy as 1-2-3
  1. Find a convnient mounting location, be sure the pick-up wire will reach the spark plug wire. If not, substitute with a wire of the same outside diameter of no less than 22 guage, up to 8 feet long. DO NOT mount meter where surface temperature exceeds 125°F. As a general guideline, if you can place your hand on the mounting surface without discomfort while equipment is at full operating temperature, then it will be suitable to mount meter in that location.
  2. Use drill template (Fig 1) to locate mounting holes. DO NOT DRILL INTO GASTANKS OR ENGINE CRANKCASE; if in doubt contact your dealer.
  3. Secure pick-up wire into meter by placing wire over channel and pushing down with a flat screwdriver. Wire must be seated cimpletely in channel (Fig 2). Fasten meter to mounting surface with supplied screws. Route wire to spark plug wire and attach as show in Figure 3.
